We are seeking exceptional candidates for a Senior HR Manager role with extensive HR related knowledge and experience working across geographies, cultures, and legal systems. The Senior HR Manager will accompany our growth by supporting managers on day to day related tasks while also having the primary responsibility to guide the development of HR policies and systems with coherent and consistent application across different countries.

 

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with leadership and managers to develop and align HR strategies and workforce planning with overall business objectives and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
  • Lead review, development, and rollout of job descriptions, roles, and grading system across the different business units within Lapis.
  • Advise on development of benefits and compensation related policies across regions.

 

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, maintain a talent pipeline, and ensure the best fit for the company’s culture and goals.
  • Develop onboarding and orientation processes and related resources.
  • In coordination with legal and compliance teams, guide processes for development of consultant and candidate pools for business development and ad hoc needs of the team.

 

Employee Engagement and Retention:

  • Develop and implement strategies for staff retention, employee engagement, professional development and career development pathways.
  • Develop policies and initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion.

 

Innovation in HR Practices:

  • Bring innovation to HR processes by exploring new trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the overall HR function.
  • Coordinate integration of Lapis Group teams in the rollout of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and related functionalities.

 

Legal Compliance:

  • In coordination with Lapis Group’s legal counsel to ensure adherence to local legal frameworks and regulations in development of new HR policies and practices.
  • Serve as point person for staff, consultants and other stakeholders for concerns and complaints related to staff behavior and compliance with Lapis’ policies.

 

Profile & requirements

  • Advanced university degree with specialization in human resources
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience working with private sector companies. Experience with similar companies and working across geographies a plus.
  • Proven track record in similar roles, of development of HR manuals and policies.
  • Excellent managerial/supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communications and team building skills.
