Nutrition

Lisa Sherburne is a social and behaviour change (SBC) for nutrition expert who designs and delivers evidence-based, locally led communication that drives improved nutritional status. With 25 years of experience in Asia and Africa in development and humanitarian contexts, she partners with local stakeholders and communities to measurably improve women’s diets, adolescent nutrition, and infant and young child feeding practices. Her expertise blends user research, human-centered design, and audience segmentation with behavior-centered design to develop impactful communication. Previously she served as the SBC for nutrition lead on global nutrition flagship projects and country programmes where she led the design, implementation, and monitoring of SBC strategies and campaigns on maternal and child nutrition, school feeding, and nutrition-sensitive social protection initiatives that demonstrated significant impact in child growth, health, and well-being.
