Dare To Care

Lapis provided strategic communications and media production services for UN Women’s Dare to Care regional campaign focused on unpaid care work.

The youth-led communications and social mobilization campaign urges men and boys in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia to shoulder an equal share of unpaid care and household work. Lapis’ role centered on creative content and participatory design: convening 20 young activists to cocreate the campaign name, trilingual visual identity and advocacy materials; scripting, filming and editing a suite of social experiment PSAs,  producing a two minute animation that spotlights caregiving, and standing up an interactive digital platform and influencer-driven social media challenges, backed by targeted ad buys, to amplify reach. Lapis also provided the dissemination roadmap and a monitoring and evaluation framework to track shifts in attitudes and the extra time men devote to caregiving.
