The Syrian Women’s Initiative for Peace and Democracy aimed to amplify the voices of Syrian women in peacebuilding efforts by providing strategic communication, advocacy, and media support. The initiative worked to mobilize Syrian women activists and civil society leaders, ensuring their perspectives were recognized in political and diplomatic processes.​

Lapis supported this initiative by developing a visual identity, advocacy toolkit, and multimedia storytelling campaign that helped women communicate their demands for a just and inclusive political resolution. Through video storytelling, social media outreach, and radio content, the campaign engaged international audiences, policy-makers, and grassroots activists, reinforcing the role of women in Syria’s peace process.

Lapis also designed and facilitated tailored workshops, coaching sessions, aand strategic dialogues aimed at enhancing the advocacy skills of Syrian women peacebuilders, equipping them with tools for influencing local and international peace agendas.
