Caspar Groeneveld is the Director of the Content Development Lab at Lapis, where he leads the creation, curation, and deployment of digital learning tools in Afghanistan, including a localised educational AI chatbot, for secondary school girls. With over 25 years of experience in educational technology, he has worked across the public, private, and research sectors to implement and assess education solutions in under-resourced environments.
Caspar has developed instructional design and quality assurance processes to support the effective delivery of content and has worked extensively on the use and localisation of Open Educational Resources. His experience includes managing content teams, establishing partnerships, and building operational systems in challenging contexts such as Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has also contributed to research and implementation projects at the University of Amsterdam and supported educational strategy and dissemination efforts at EdTech Hub.
