Samim is an experienced program management and communications professional with a proven track record of managing diverse programs in conflict and post-conflict environments. For the past 15 years, Samim has been deeply involved in the media and communications sector across Central Asia, especially in Afghanistan and the MENA region, focusing on Jordan, Yemen, and Iraq.
He has led projects in Kazakhstan, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Afghanistan that address key issues such as health, children’s rights, women’s rights, youth empowerment, and workforce development. His work also includes media content creation, producing a 24-episode TV series on countering violent extremism (CVE) in Afghanistan, alongside various short- and long-form creative content pieces, including TV shows and news packages.
Samim is an expert at guiding projects through all stages—from design and proposal development to client relations and implementation. Currently, he manages a centralized unit for strategic development and partnerships at Lapis, supporting all Lapis offices and collaborating with multinational, multicultural teams.
