Youm Jadeed
(A New Day)
Empowering Palestinian children aged 6-12 with engaging education and psychosocial support programs. Our innovative approach is reaching students at scale even in the most challenging circumstances.
Why Youm Jadeed
Across Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, 2.3 million school-aged children need learning solutions that work now. In Gaza, 97.5% of schools are destroyed, and temporary learning spaces reach only 43% of those affected. In the West Bank, movement restrictions, teacher shortages, and recurring closures have shrunk instructional time to a few days a week. We’re bridging the gap with a culturally-attuned education and psychosocial support program.
Stories that Resonate
Follow siblings Suad and Iyad on adventures through science, geography, history, and language. Stories about belonging, courage, loss, resilience, and hope help children connect learning to their own lives and process difficult emotions.
Curriculum + SEL
The curriculum is embedded through storytelling, strengthening foundational skills and developing social-emotional learning (SEL) to help children process feelings that are often difficult to articulate in crisis settings.
Locally Made
Palestinian writers, educators, and child psychologists collaborate in a participatory process, refining every script to ensure cultural authenticity, emotional safety, and genuine representation of Palestinian voices.
