Alif Khan Hamdard is an educationist and curriculum specialist with 14+ years of experience in education program management, curriculum development, and teacher education across Afghanistan. He holds an MA in Education (Teacher Education) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai, India, and a B.Ed. in Science (Chemistry and Biology) from Nangarhar University.
His strengths include leadership and strategic planning, clear communication, problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, research-informed instructional design, and producing high-quality teaching and assessment resources.
He is currently Lead Education Expert and Head of the Chemistry & Geology Departments at LAPIS Group, leading curriculum-aligned digital learning for TV, radio, and social platforms. Previously, he served as Senior Education Officer with Swedish Committee for Afghanistan and as Education Officer with Afghanistan Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP), supporting community-based education. He also worked as Senior Curriculum Specialist with TEVETA/ASDP and as Senior Subject Specialist with the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan.
