Fatema has over 11 years of experience in project management, donor/stakeholder coordination, strategic media planning and media buying. She currently leads several media broadcast campaigns, funded by UNICEF, UN-Women, UNDP, UNFPA and Governments. Prior to joining Lapis (Nov 2015), she worked with the Afghanistan Independent Election Commission as Communication Analyst, she is chairing the board of directors at Justice for All organization as part of her volunteer activities .
Fatema has BA degree in Law and Political Science from Kabul University and MBA degree from Kardan University. Her main areas of work include strategic media planning, media buying, media monitoring and assessment, and media coordination.
Fatema has maintained a wide network of over 240 national and local active media outlets from all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
