Isra’a Al-Zu’bi is a human resources and operations professional with over 12 years of professional experience, including 8 years specializing in human resources, supporting international development and consulting organizations across the Middle East and Africa. Her work spans HR operations, full-cycle recruitment, personnel management, compliance, and office administration, with a strong focus on building systems that support effective teams and complex project delivery.
At Lapis Group, Isra oversees day-to-day HR operations for staff and consultants, including personnel tracking, contracts, onboarding, and documentation, and supports team needs related to insurance, social security, and administrative requirements. She also supports business development efforts, working closely with technical teams to source and screen candidates for bids, prepare consultant CVs, and support staffing for donor-funded proposals.
Prior to Lapis, she held progressive HR roles with Tetra Tech (Kaizen) and the Norwegian Refugee Council, supporting recruitment and HR management in complex, field-based environments.
