Masooda Hamidy is currently a scriptwriter at Lapis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Kabul University. Her media career began with Pajhwok Afghan News in collaboration with Internews, where she worked as a reporter covering political, economic, and social issues. She later joined an Educational Radio and Television network, serving as a producer, presenter, reporter, and scriptwriter, focusing on educational programming. Masooda has completed a short-term course in Advance Multimedia and Web Designing at Shri Ram Institute in New Delhi, India, and participated in a Leadership for Women training organized by AJSO. Additionally, she has volunteered with UN Women, contributing to gender-focused and humanitarian efforts. With strong skills in writing, communication, coordination, and planning, she brings broad expertise in media and public engagements.
